oh saturday nights... i seriously have not had that much fun in so long. i loved being around hilarious guys that made me laugh without swearing or saying disrespectful things. and we played card games.. seriously i didn't think anyone did that anymore!
i really hope no one is reading this that is going to tell him, but here it goes. i think my homecoming date is the most awesome guy on the entire planet. ahhh. long story short, i know i like someone when i get the butterflies when im around him, and worst of all, i can't look him in the eyes. horrible i know. but definitely a sign!
wish me luck!
ps im starting a new diet this week (for homecoming if you know what i mean;) and i've lost 3 pounds since sunday. just sayin! i hope by posting my personal issues on the world wide web i can actually accomplish something.

i love you, andrew jenks
"i have all these great ideas... like a shirt that says LOSER!" (from one of my favorite movies, orange county)
i have all these great ideas for blog posts, but i never have time to blog! blah blah blahhh. we've heard that one a million times, right?
well my new obsession is a TV show called, "The World of Jenks." it's on MTV, and usually, when i would be opposed to watching any show on that channel, I LOVE THIS SHOW! it's not the typical egotistical, wanna-be famous reality show that we all get enough of on television.
the show is about a guy who decides he wants to film a documentary about other people's lives. to really experience how others live, he lives with the different people, and films his incredible experiences.
i would love more than anything to do something like this! during one of the episodes, Andrew lives with an autistic 20 year old, and i was seriously crying the whole time. (yes i cry a lot, but it was touching!) if only everyone could look past the exterior of disabled people and really get to know them like Andrew did. i saved this show on my TV, so i can constantly be reminded of Andrew's sincere kindness. oh, and did i mention Andrew Jenks is absolutely GORGEOUS!? (:
poster from Andrew's show on Chad; an autistic man from New Jersey.
poster from another episode where Andrew lives with rapper Maine. this episode was a little scary, especially when Andrew explained Maine had lived in prison for 10 years for kidnapping, and beats up Andrew on camera. however, it was a reality check that millions of people live in poverty and grow up just to live for something. it also made more sense to me why so many people support Obama. im not racist at all, i just understand now, that the reason why the black people living in poverty admire our president so much, is because they can connect to someone that came from similar backgrounds, and look up to him.
